ABOUT THE PLAY
MY Name is SØren Keirkegaard
Two selves, one soul. In this one-act play, Søren Kierkegaard confronts himself — half prophet in search of revolution, half pilgrim in search of holiness.

Synopsis
THE PLAY
The play becomes a mirror for modern conformity, social pressure, and shallow faith — as urgent in 2026 as it was in 1855.
They scheme, suffer, and spar over whether the church can be saved — or whether it must first be torn apart. Kierkegaard's most famous conviction was that truth belongs not to the crowd but to the single individual standing before God.
Half prophet in search of revolution. Half pilgrim in search of holiness. They scheme, suffer, and spar.
My Name is Søren Kierkegaard debuted as a reader's theatre performance in June 2025 at New Threads Theatre Company's Greenhouse Festival. By request, it was performed at two major arts conferences before its full production at UTC's Black Box Theatre in July 2026.
